Let's Go Places on the Recruiting Trail: Patrick Joyner, South Dade LB
Patrick Joyner has made the decision to commit to the Florida State Seminoles. Standing tall at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 215 pounds, Joyner has proven himself as a versatile and standout player on the football field. Originally at Keys Gate Charter School, Joyner transferred to South Dade High School and found his stride, excelling in his new environment. Joyner's athleticism and awareness make him a formidable outside linebacker, while his strength allows him to excel as a defensive end and rush the passer. Last season, he earned all-state honors with an impressive stat line of 56 tackles and 18 sacks, showcasing his ability to disrupt the offense and penetrate the backfield. College recruiters have taken notice of Joyner's remarkable skills, but he remains open to playing any position at the collegiate level. However, he believes that his greatest impact could be made as a linebacker. With this in mind, Joyner has verbally committed to the Florida State Seminoles for the upcoming season. Although both Miami and Florida have expressed interest in him, Joyner has ultimately chosen the Seminoles as the next step in his football career.
